After growing up in Iowa, my wife and I moved to the Chicago suburbs after graduating from Augustana College. I have served in ministry for nearly fifteen years in different capacities from youth ministry to small group ministries with singles and married couples to seniors ministry leadership. I earned a Masters in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary in 2013.
I have the great blessing to serve in two roles. I am the Spiritual Formation Director at Judson University, where I have the immense privilege to develop opportunities for all students to grow spiritually, helping them to know and grow closer to Christ in their lives. I’m also currently a “stay-at-home pastor” taking care of my kids, Josiah and Emory. This role gives me so much joy and blessings getting to shepherd and care for them while watching them grow and develop.
I have a great passion for Christ and His church, theology, Biblical leadership, and Iowa Hawkeye sports.
I love sharing and speaking to groups, small or large, on all of the above in whatever the setting. If you’re interested in considering me for a speaking opportunity or a facilitation/discussion type setting, I’d love to connect with you. I also love to consider writing opportunities as my schedule allows.
